RESOLUTION NO, 875.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, DETER-
MINING THAT CERTAIN CITY PROPERTY IS NOT PRESENTLY REQUIRED FOR CITY PURPOSES.
RESOLVED by the City of Carlsbad, a municipal corporation, that it
finds and determines and hereby declares as follows:
(I) That the City of Carlsbad owns the following described real property:
Lots 17 to 21 inclusive, Block 39, Carlsbad Townsite, according to
Map No. 775, filed in the office of
the County Recorder of San Diego County.
(2) That the aforesaid real property is not presently required for any
city purpose and it is not contemplated that the City will require such property
for any City purpose for fifty (50) years.
(3) That public interest and necessity will be served by leasing said
real properties for commercial and business purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney is hereby authorizec
empowered and directed in the name of the City of Carlsbad to advertise for
bids to lease said real property in accordance with the laws of the State of
California.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad at a regular meeting held on February 5, 1963, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Guevara, Bierce, McPherson, Neiswender and Hughes
NOES: None
