RESOLU'iION NO. 879
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD OPPOSING ANY LEGISLATION WHICH WOULD CHANGE
TKE FORMULA FOR DISTRIBUTION OF
COURT REVENUES IN THE OCEANSIDE MUNICIPAL COURT.
WHEREAS, the present formula for distribution of Court revenues in
he Oceanside Municipal Court is a fair, just and reasonable formula; and
WHEREAS, it is to the best interests of the citizens of the City of
:arkbad, California, and the public at large generally that said formula for
istribution of Court revenues be continued;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
:ity of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1, That the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does
ereby go on record as opposing any legislation which would change the formula
ir distribution of Court revenues in the Oceanside Municipal Court.
2. That the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad, California, be and he
ereby is directed to send certified copies of this resolution to State Senator
chrade and State Assemblyman Ashcraft.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
ouncil held on the 5th day of March, 1963, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Guevara, McPherson, Neiswender and Hughes.
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Bierce
