RESOLUTION NO, 888
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
ING LOCATION OF WATER POLLUTION
RESEARCH FACILITIES IN THE COUNTY
OF SAN DIEGO,
SUPPORT-
WHEREAS, San Diego County is an ideal location for the location of an
environmental laboratory under the Health, Education and Welfare Federal
Water Pollution Program; and
WHEREAS, the California State Legislature has since late 1961 been
considering the establishment of such environmental laboratory in San Diego
County;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council go on
record as favoring the location and construction of an environmental laboratory
under the Health, Education and Welfare Federal Water Pollution Program in
San Diego County at the earliest possible date.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on the 2nd day of April, 1963, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Guevara, Bierce, McPherson, Neiswender and Hughe
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
