.A RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLAT DEFINING BOUNDARIES OF
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT, AND ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENTS
(CMINQUAPIN AVENUE 1911 IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT)
(Assessment District No. 1-1962)
Whereas certain improvements are proposed to be done '
and made in the City of Carlsbad, California under the Improve-
ment Act 'of 1911 and the Special Assessment Investigation,
Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931 to Chinquapin
Avenue between Garfield Street and the Atchison, Topeka, 4
Santa Fe Railroad right of way; and '1
Whereas it is the desire of the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad, California to adopt an assessment Plat defining
'the boundaries of the assessment district and to adopt plans
and specifications for said improvements,
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED as follows:
1. That Assessment Plat entitled Assessment District
1-1962 Plat, Project # 2-16, Drawing #135-EA consisting of one
sheet on file and open for public inspection in the office of
the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad, California, be adopted
as defining the boundaries of the district to be specially
assessed to pay part of the cost of the proposed improvement.
2. That the Plans and specifications shown on Project
2-16, Drawing ## 135-8, consisting of three sheets and contract
documents and construction specifications entitled for Street
Improvements in Chinquapin Avenue, between Garfield Street and
Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad right of way; assessment
district No. 1-1962; which are on file and open for public
inspection in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad,

California be adopted as the plans and specifications of the
proposed improvement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
9 Carlsbad at a special meeting held this 26th day of April
1963, by the following vote, to-wit:
AYES : Councilmen McPherson, Bierce, Guevara, Neiswender and Hughes.
NOES: None
ABSENT : None
