RESOLUTION NO. 899
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, EXTENDING APPRECIATION TO EARL H. MC PHERSON
FOR SERVICES RENDERED AS MAYOR OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD.
WHEREAS, EARL H, MC PHERSON served as Mayor of the City of
Carlsbad from April, 1962 to April, 1963; and
WHEREAS, the administrative problems incident to the governmental
duties incumbent upon the Mayor of the City of Carlsbad have been most
demanding; and
WHEREAS, EARL H, MC PHERSON has diligently and faithfully
entered upon the performance of all the duties appurtenent to the office of
Mayor; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is most appreciative of the devotion to
duty that has been exercised by Earl H. McPherson as Mayor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad does hereby extend its grateful appreciation to EARL H.
MC PHERSON for having so diligently and faithfully served the people of
the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 7th day of May, 1963, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Bierce, Guevara and Neiswender
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Hughes
ABSTAINED: Councilman McPherson
