The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The procedure for the vacation of a portion of Ocean Street between certain designated points in the City of Carlsbad, shall be, and the same is hereby ordered to be in accordance with the proceedings set forth in the State Vacation Act of 1941, contained in Sections 8300 to 8374 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. SECTION 2. It is hereby resolved and declared to be the intention of the City Council to vacate a portion of Ocean Street, more particularly described as f 011 ow s : Those portions of Mountain View Drive and Laguna Drive, now known as Ocean Street, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, as shown on the Map of Granville Park, according to Map thereof No. 1782, filed in the office of the County Recorder of said County described as follows: Beginning at a point in the Easterly line of Mountain View Drive as shown on said Map No. 1782, said point being on a curve, concave Easterly, having a radius of 268. 03 feet, a radial line through said point bears North 58" 14I 45" East; thence Northerly along said curve, through a central angle of 6" 22' 30", an arc distance of 29.82 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing Northerly along the last mentioned curve, through a central angle of 6" 36* 58", an arc distance of 30.95 feet to the beginning of a compound curve, concave Easterly, having a radius of 78.50 feet; thence Northerly along the last mentioned curve, through a central angle of 44" 12I 13': an arc distance of 60. 56 feet to the beginning of a compound curve, concave Southeasterly, having a radius of 167.16 feet; thence North- easterly along the last mentioned curve, through a central angle of 37" 00' 35", an arc distance of 107.98 feet to the intersection with a curve, concave Northeasterly, having a radius of 1532.69 feet, a line radial to the last mentioned curve and passing through the point of intersection bears North 38" 47* 29" East; thence Northwesterly along the last mentioned curve, through a central angle of I' 35' 46", an arc distance of 42.70 feet to the intersection with a curve, concave Southeasterly, having a radius of 207.16 feet, a line radial to the last mentioned curve and passing through the point of intersection bears South 32* 08f 30" East; thence Southerly along the last mentioned curve, through a central angle of 47" 25' lo", an arc distance of 171.45 feet to the beginning of a reverse curve, concave Westerly, having a radius of 183.88 feet; thence Southerly along the last mentioned curve, through a central angle of 16" 52f 40", an arc distance of 54.17 feet to an intersection with a curve concave Southerly, having a radius of 73.00 feet, a line radial to the last mentioned curve and passing through the point of intersection bears South 30" 49I 00" East; thence 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 32 14 15 16 17 le 1s 2c 21 2: .2 I 2L 2: 2t 2: 2t 25 3( 31 3: 0 Easterly along the last mentioned curve, through a central angle of 65" 002 05'*, an arc distance of 82.82 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, he details of such proposed vacation being more specifically set forth in a map nd plan in the office of the City Clerk. SECTION 3. The City Council of the City of Carlsbad hereby establishes s the date for hearing all persons interested in, or objecting to, the proposed -acation, at 7:30 orclock P.M. on June 18, 1963, at its regular meeting place n the City Hall in the City of Carlsbad, 2960 Pi0 Pic0 Drive, Carlsbad, Californ SECTION 4.
