RESOLUTION NO, 909
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD ANNOUNCING
FINDINGS AND DECISION REGARDING CHANGE OF ZONE CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN DESIGNATED PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD FROM ZONE R-1 AND R-3, TO ZONE C-I.
WHEREAS, on the 14th day of May, 1963, the Carlsbad City Planning
Sommission adopted Resolution No. 296, which is herewith referred to and made
3 part hereof; and
WHEREAS, on June 4, 1963, a duly advertisied public hearing was held
2s prescribed by law to consider the reclassification from Zone R-1-7500 (Single
Family Residential) and R- 3 (Multiple Family Residential) to Zone C -1 (Neighbor
iood Commercial) of property described as:
Portion of Tract 115, Carlsbad Acre Tract, Map 775, in the
City of Carlsbad, being Assessorts Parcels 1, 2, 3 and 4, of Book 156, Page 180 of the Assessor's Map of San Diego County;

WHEREAS, the City Council received all recommendations and heard
dl persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change of zone classification
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES
HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the Planning
Zommission contained in Resolution No. 296 consfitute the findings of the City
Zouncil of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
:ertifies that the approval of the proposed change of zone classification is
iecessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordimnce No. 9060 as amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declare
its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed change of zone
das sification.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND ORDERED that the City Attorney is
nereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 9060 to
effectuate the change of zone classification.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on the 4th day of June, 1963, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES:
NOES: None
Councilmen Bierce, Guevara, Neiswender and Hughes.
ABSENT: Councilman McPherson
of the City of Carlsbad,
Carlsbad, California
