A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING VACATION OF A PART OF OCEAN STREET AND ORDERING CLERK TO RECORD A CERTIFIED COPY HEREOF IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF SAN DIEGO COUNTY. WHEREAS, on May 21, 1963, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, adopted Resolution No. 907, declaring its intention to vacate for public street purposes a portion of Ocean Street, located in the City of Carlsbad County of San Diego, State of California, and more particularly described as: Those portions of Mountain View Drive and Laguna Drive, now known as Ocean Street, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, as shown on the Map of Granville Park, according to Map thereof No. 1782, filed in the office of the County Recorder of said County described as follows: Beginning at a point in the Easterly line of Mountain View Drive as shown on said Map No. 1782, said point being on a curve, concave Easterly, having a radius of 268.03 feet, a radial line through said point bears North 58" 14I 45" East; thence Northerly along said curve, through a central angle of 6" 22' 30", an arc distance of 29. 82 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing Northerly along the last mentioned curve, through a central angle of 6* 36' 58", an arc distance of 30.95 feet to the beginning of a compound curve, concave Easterly, having a radius of 78.50 feet; thence Northerly along the last mentioned curve, through a central angle of 44" 12' 13", an arc distance of 60.56 feet to the beginning of a compound curve, concave Southeasterly, having a radius of 167.16 feet; thence North- easterly along the last mentioned curve, through a central angle of '37" OPT 35", ariiarc distance of 107.98 feet to the intersection with a curve, concave Northeasterly, having a radius of 1532. 69 feet, a line radial to the last mentioned curve and passing through the point of intersection bears North 38" 47' 29" East; thence Northwesterly along the last mentioned curve, through a central angle of I" 35' 46", an arc distance of 42.70 feet to the intersection with a curve, concave Southeasterly, having a radius of 207.16 feet, a line radial to the last mentioned curve and passing through the point of intersection bears South 32" 08' 30" East; thence Southerly along the last mentioned curve, through a central angle of 47*'25' lo", an arc distance of 171.45 feet to the beginning of a reverse curve, concave Westerly, having a radius of 183.88 feet; thence Southerly along the last mentioned curve, through a central angle of 16" 52' 40", an arc distance of 54.17 feet to an intersection with a curve concave Southerly, having a radius of 73. 08 feet, a line radial to the last mentioned curve and passing through the point of intersection bears South 30" 49' 00" East; thence Easterly along the last mentioned curve, through a central angle of 65" 00' 05", an arc distance of 82. 82 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; ' and WHEREAS, said resolution of intention fixed the time and place of hearin$ < 11 1: 1; 1: 11 11 1t 1': I.! 1< 2( 21 2; .2 2 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation as 7:30 ofclock P.M. on June 18, 1963, at 2960 Pi0 Pic0 Drive, Carlsbad, California; and WHEREAS, notice of the time and place of said hearing was given as pre scribed by Section 8322 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of Cali- fornia; and WHEREAS, at said hearing, the City Council heard all evidence offered by any person interested, and found from all the evidence submitted that the above described portion of Ocean Street is unnecessary for present or prospect ive public street purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows: 1. That portion of Ocean Street more particularly described hereinabove is hereby ordered vacated for public street purposes. 2. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad, California, shall cause a certified copy of this resolution, attested by the Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Diego, State of California. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held on the 18th day of June, 1963, by the follow ing vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen McPherson, Bierce, Guevara, Neiswender and Hughe: NOES: None ABSENT: None of the City of Carlsbad, C arls bad, California ATTEST w.
