WHEREAS, by resolution of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, it was resolved that the highest and most advantageous use of the Atchison, Topek and Santa Fe Railroad station within the City was as a freight facility, and that to move said station would be detrimental to the City's economic welfare, and that as soon as the freight traffic warrants that the station should be reopened; and WHEREAS, by a certain lease dated March 15, 1963, between the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company and the City, the City leased from the railway the station house previously used for said railway station for use as an office building; and WHEREAS, the attitude of the City Council is no longer expressed by Resolution No. 655; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby revoke Resolution No. 655 of the City Council. , PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, at a regular meeting held July 2, 1963, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen McPherson, Bierce, Guevara, Neiswender and Hughes NOES: None ABSENT: None \- WILLIAM G.
