RESOLUTION NO. 925
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CITZNG THE URGENCY AND NEED FOR WPID
DEVELOPMENT OF THE FEATHER
RIVER PRO JEC T,
WHEREAS, the City of San Diego has by its Resolution No. 176001 cited
the urgency and need for rapid development of the Feather River Project and
has therein cited various reasons therefor; and
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad is in complete accord with said resolution
of the reasons stated therein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad as follows:
That said city hereby expresses the urgency and need in the rapid develop-
ment of the Feather River Prlject, and that as an incident of such development,
the completion of the each branch by 1972, or earlier, is an absolute essential
for survival of the areas of Antelope Valley, San Bernardino County, Riverside
County and San Diego County.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad at a regular meeting held on July 2, 1963, by the following vote, to wi
AYES: Councilmen McPherson, Bierce, Guevara and Neiswender.
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Hughes
