RESOLUTION NO. 926.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISION REGARDING CHANGE
OF ZONE CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN DESIGNATED PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF

CARLSBAD FROM ZONE R-1 TO ZONE R-3.
WHEREAS, on the 9th day of July, 1963, the Carlsbad City Planning
Zommission adopted Resolution No. 307, which is herewith referred to and made
3 part hereof; and
WHEREAS, on August 6, 1963, a duly advertised public hearing was held
3s prescribed by law to consider the reclassification from Zone R-1 (Residentia:
LO Zone R-3 (Multiple-Family Residential) of property described as:
Portion of Tract 250, Thum Lands, Map 1681, and a
portion of R. 0. S. 4482 in the City of Carlsbad, being
Assessor's Parcel 8, excepting therefrom the Southerly
135 feet thereof, Book 205, Page 230 of the Assessorfs
Map of San Diego County;

WHEREAS, the City Council received all recommendations and heard all
persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change of zone classification.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES
HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the Planning
Zommission contained in Resolution No. 307 constitute the findings of the City
Zouncil of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
Zertifies that the approval of the proposed change of zone classification is
necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060 as amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declare
its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed change of zone
classification.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND ORDERED that the City Attorney is
hereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 9060 to
effectuate the change of zone classification.

Council held on the 6th day of August, 1963, by the following vote, to wit:
