WHEREAS, on the 17th day of September, 1963, at 7: 30 P. M. in the Council Chambers at 2960 Pi0 Pic0 Drive, Carlsbad, California, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad did hold a public hearing on protests to "East Carlsbad Annexation 2. 3"; and WHEREAS, protests were not made by the owners of one-half of the value of the privately owned territory proposed to be annexed as shown on the last equalized tax roll; and WHEREAS, there were no public owners of territory proposed to be ann ex e d; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad that a majority protest has not been made with regard to "East Carlsbad Annexation 2. 3". PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held September 17, 1963, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen McPherson, Bierce, Guevara, Neiswender and Hughes.
