RESOLUTION NO. 946
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD DIRECTING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICA- TIONS AND DESIGNATING ENGINEER TO PREPARE PLANS.
(Proposed Assessment District No. 1-1963)
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, that
LOWELL A, RATHBUN, Engineer of Work, be and he is hereby directed to
prepare plans and specifications for said proposed work; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proceedings for such work shall
be taken in accordance with the provisions of the "Improvement Act of 1911"
under Resolution of Intention to be hereafter adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said Lowell A. Rathbun be, and
he is hereby directed to prepare a map showing the boundaries and the district
to be assessed for the said proposed work and improvement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Lowell A. Rathbun ia hereby directed
to denominate said plans, ir Improvement plan and profile for Hemlock Avenue,
from centerline of Garfield Street easterly to westerly right-of-way line of
A. T. & S. F. Railway Company", and that said Engineer shall designate said
specifications for such proposed improvement "Contract Documents and Con-
struction Specifications No. 1-196 3".
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Lowell A. Rathbun be, and he is
hereby directed to prepare an estimate of the cost for the construction of said
work and improvements.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said Lowell A. Rathbun be, and he
is hereby directed to prepare a wage scale to be paid to persons employed in
the construction of said work and improvements.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
