RESOLUTION NO. 949
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD FINDING
AND DECLARING THAT A -MAJORITY
PROTEST KAS NOT BEEN PRESENTED
WITH REGARD TO "SOUTH CARLSBAD
ANNEXATION 1. 4". -~
WHEREAS, on the 5th day of November, 1963, at 7: 30 P. M. in the
Council Chambers at 2960 Pi0 Pic0 Drive, Carlsbad, California, the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad did hold a public hearing on protests to "South
Carlsbad Annexation 1.4"; and
WHEREAS, a majority protest was not presented in accordance with
Section 35313 of the California Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad hereby elects to
proceed with said proposed annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad that a majority protest has not been made with regard to "South
Carlsbad Annexation 1. 4".
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad at a regular meeting held November 5, 1963, by the follaving vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen McPherson, Bie rce, Guevara, Neiswender and Hughes,
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
of the City of Carlsbad, Carlsbad, California
