RESOLUTION NO. 968
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
DIRECTING THAT CERTAIN STREET WORK BE DONE UNDER THE DIRECTION AND TO THE: SATISFACTION OF THE ENGINEER OF WORK. (Assessment District No. 2-1962)
WHEREAS, heretofore on this date, this City Council of the City of
Carlsbad has adopted its Resolution No. 967 ordering certain street improve-
ments, said work being more particularly described in its Resolution No. 957
and shown on plans (which include profiles and detailed drawings) designated
Construction Plans for the improvement of Harding Street and adjacent portion 11
of the following streets: Grand Avenue, Elm Avenue, Oak Avenue, Pine Avenue
Madison Avenue, Chestnut Avenue, Palm Avenue, Magnolia Avenue and in
Easement of Public Right of Way, known as Project No. 2-2", on file in the
office of the City Clerk of said City, and described in specifications designated
Contract Documents and Construction Specifications No. 2 -1962", also on file If
in the office of said City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable that said work shall be done under the directioi
and to the satisfaction of the Engineer of Work, and that the materials used
shall comply with said specifications and be to the satisfaction of said Engineer
of Work instead of the Superintendent of Streets of said City.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER that said work shall
be done under the direction of and to the satisfaction of said Engineer of Work
and the materials used shall comply with said specifications and be to the
satisfaction'of sand Engineer of Work instead of the Superintendent of Streets
of the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on the 7th day of January, 1964, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen McPherson, Bierce, Guevara, Neiswender and Hughes.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None

I, MARGARET E. ADAMS, City Clerk of said City, DO HEREBY
CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of
said City and was approved by the Mayor of said City at a regular meeting of
said City Council held on the 7th day of January, 1964, and that it was adopted
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen McPherson, Bierce, Guevara, Neiswender and Hughes.
NOES: None
