RESOLUTION NO. 973.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD REQUESTING OPINION OF HEALTH OFFICER, AND DECLAmG THE NECESSITY OF INSTALL-
ATION OF SANITARY SEWERS,
(Proposed Assessment District No. 3-1964)
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad that the
installation of sanitary sewers in Buena Vista Way, Valley Street, Oak Avenue
and in easements in Public Rights of way to be provided for, in the City of
Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, be, and it is hereby found
and declared to be necessary as a health measure, and that assessment pro-
ceedings should be initiated to install said sanitary sewers; and
BE IT FURTKER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad
be, and 'shelis hereby directed to advise the Health Officer of the City of
Carlsbad that it is the finding of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad that
the installation of such sanitary sewers is necessary as a health measure and
that said Health Officer be requested to investigate said proposed installation
of sewers, and if the said Health Officer feels that the installation of sewers
in said streets are necessary as a health measure, to advise this City Council
that such is the case and to recommend that assessment proceedings should be
initiated for the construction of said sanitary sewers.
PASSED, APPROmD AND ADOPTED at a regular meetingof the City
Council held on the 21st day of January, 1964, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen McPherson, Bierce, Guevara and Neiswender.
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Hughes.
