A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISION REGARDING CHANGE OF ZONE CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN DESIGNATED PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD FROM ZONE R-1 TO ZONE R-3. WHEREAS, on the 14th day of January, 1964, the Carlsbad City Planning Zommission adopted Resolution No. 330, which is herewith referred to and mad 2 part hereof; and WHEREXS, on February 4, 1964, a duly advertised public hearing was neld as prescribed by law to consider the reclassification from Zone R-1 (Single Family Residential) to Zone R- 3 (Multiple -family Residential) of property jescribed as: Lots 11 and 12 of Optimo Tract, Map No. 1805; and Lot 21 together with the Northerly 15 feet of Lot 22; the Southerly 25 feet of Lot 25 together with the Northerly 25 feet of Lot 26; and Lot 28 of Optimo Tract No. 2, Map No. 2151, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California; 2nd WHEREAS, the City Council received all recommendations and heard a persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change of zone classification. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the Planning Commission contained in Resolution No. 330 constitute the findings of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad. BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council certifies that the approval of the proposed change of zone classification is necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060 as amended. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declar its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed change of zone classification. BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND ORDERED that the City Attorney is hereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 9060 to effectuate the change of zone classification.
