RESOLUTION NO. 993
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISION REGARDING CHANGE OF ZONE CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN DESIGNATED PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD FROM ZONE R-1-15 TO ZONE R-T.
WHEREAS, on the 11th day of February, 1964, the Carlsbad City Planning
Commission adopted Resolution No. 336, which is herewith referred, to and mat
a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, on March 3, 1964, a duly advertised public hearing was held
as prescribed by law to consider the reclassification from Zone R-1-15 (One
Family Residential) to Zone R-T (Residential-tourist) of property described as:
Portion of Bellavista, Block E, Map 2152 in the City
of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, being that portion
of Lot 15 lying Southerly of a line bearing North 86" 07f
West from a point on the Easterly line of said lot,
distance South 3" 53r West 27.14 feet from the North-
westerly corner of Lot 16, and all of Lot 16;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council received all recommendations and heard
all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change of zone classificati
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES
HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the Plannir
Commission contained in Resolution No. 302 constitute the findings of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
certifies that the approval of the proposed change of zone classification is
necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060 as amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declare
its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed change of zone
classification.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND ORDERED that the City Attorney is
hereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 9060 to
effectuate the change of zone classification.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
;ouncil held on the 3rd day of March, 1964, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen McPherson, Guevara, Bierce , Neiswender and Hughes.
