RESOLUTION NO, 1018
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD ANNOUNCING
FINDINGS AND DECISION REGARDING CHANGE OF ZONE CLASSIFICATION OF
CERTAIN DESIGNATED PROPERTY IN THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD FROM ZONE R-2 TO ZONE R-3.
WHEREAS, on the 24th day of March, 1964, the Carlsbad City Planning
Commission adopted Resolution No. 346, which is herewith referred to and
made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, on April 21 , 1964, a duly advertised public hearing
was held as prescribed by law to consider the reclassification from Zone R-2
(Two -family Residential) to Zone E- 3 (Multiple-family Residential) of property
described as:
Lots 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13, in Block I of Palisades, Map 1747 in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council received all recommendations and heard all
persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change of zone classification.
NOWa THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES
HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the Plannin
Commission contained in Resolution No. 346 constitute the findings of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
Zertifies that the approval of the proposed change of zone classification is
iecessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060 as amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declare
.ts intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed change of zone
Aassification.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND ORDERED that the City Attorney is
iereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 9060 to
:ffectuate the change of zone classification.
