RESOLUTION NO. 1020
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISION
REGARDING CHANGE OF ZONE CLASSIFICATION OF
CERTAIN DESIGNATED PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD FROM ZONE R-1 TO ZONE R-1-10.
WHEREAS, on the 24th day of March, 1964, the Carlsbad City Plan-
ling Commission adopted Resolution No. 344, which is herewith referre
;o and made a part hereof: and
WHEREAS, on May 5, 1964 , a duly advertised public hearing
7as held as prescribed by law to consider the reclassification from
;one R-1 (One-family residential] to Zone R-1-10
led on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof;

WHEmAS, the City Council received all recommendations and hearc
11 persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change of zone
lassif ication.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad DOES
EREBY DECLARE FINDXIYGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the Planninc
ommission contained in Resolution No. 344 constitute the findings ol
he City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council certi-
fies that the approval of the proposed change of zone classification
is necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordinance No. 9060
IS amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declare
its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed change
)f zone classification.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND ORDERED that the City Attorney is
rereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 9060

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on the 5th day of May, 1964 , by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Atkinson, Guevara, Neiswender, Jardine and Hughes.
NOES: None
