RESOLUTION NO. 1050
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, REJECTING ALL BIDS AND CALLING FOR NEW BIDS.
(Assessment District No. 1-1963)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 1026, adopted on the
th day of May, 1964, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, did by its
tesolution No. 1035 adopted on the 3rd day of June, 1964, order certain work
nd improvements to be made in Hemlock Avenue, (Assessment District No.
-1963); and
WHEREAS, by said Resolution No. 1035, it was directed that bids be
:alled for the doing of said work and improvement, and the time set for receivin,
;aid sealed bids or proposals was for the 6th day of July, 1964, at the hour of
.:OO o'clock P. M. of said day; and
WHEREAS, Notice Inviting Sealed Bids was duly published in the time,
'orm and manner required by law; and the hour of 1:00 ofclock P. M. of the day
;et for receiving bids having arrived, and all bids having been publicly opened,
3xamined and declared,
NOWa THEREFORE IT IS RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
TKE CITY OF CARLSBAD, as follows:
SECTION 1. That all bids be and they are hereby rejected; and the City
Clerk is hereby directed to readvertise for bids for the hereinabove described
work and improvement.
SECTION 2. That the time for receiving said sealed bids or proposals
for the doing of said work and improvement shall be the 3rd day of August, 1964,
at the hour of 1:OQ o'clock P. M. of said day, and the City Clerk is hereby
directed to give notice inviting sealed bids in the time, form and manner pro-
vided by the provisions of the "Improvement Act of 1911" of the State of

PASSED, APPROICED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on the 7th day of July, 1964, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Dunne, Neiswender, Jardine and Hughes.
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Atkinson.
