HomeMy WebLinkAbout1964-07-21; City Council; Resolution 10530 7 8 9 10 11 e 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the City Half. of the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, said time and place being the date, hour and place fixed in resolution No, 1040 for hearing protests to “South Carlsbad Annexation No, 1.5”; and 1 RESOLUTION NO, 1053 I 5-2 13 RESOLUTION NO, 1053 WHHIEAS, the City Council did hear and pass upon all protests made to the proposed annexation; and A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD DECLARING THAT PROTESTS MOT MADE BY 0W”S OWED TERRITORY AND PUBLICLY OWED TEBRITORY PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 35313,2, OF QNE-HALF OF THE VALUE OF PRIVATELY 19 20 WHETZEAS, on the 21st day of July, 1964, at the hour of WHEREAS, no written protests concerning the annexation was received from the public owners of the publicly owned 30 31 EREAS, written protests were filed and heard prior adjournment of hearing on protests by 28.85% of owners of the values of the privately owned territory pr6- posed to be annexed as shown by the last equalized assess- ment roL1; and rritory proposed to be annexed, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of e City of Carlsbad hereby finds and declares that protests e not been made by the owners of one-half of the value of privately owned territory proposed to be annexed as shown he last equalized assessment roll, nor by public owners ne-half of the value of the publicly owned territory osed to be annexed, in accordance with Section 35313.2 the Government Code.
