RESOLUTION NO. 1059
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AWARDING CONTRACF FOR WORK..OR IM- PROVEMENT ORDERED BY RESOLUTION NO. 1026 OF SAID CITY COUNCIL,
(Assessment District No, 1-1963)
MRImEAS, this City Council on the 3rd day of June, 1964,
duLy adopted Resolution No, 1035 ordering the following work
to be done or improvement to be made, to wit, all that certain
work or imporvement described in Resolution No. 1026, duly a-
dopted by this City Council on the 5th day of May, 1964; and
WHEREAS: pursuant to and in accordance with said Reso-
lution No, 1035, a notice inviting sealed bids or proposals
for doing said work or improveme
posted; and
as duly published and
WHEREAS, at the hour of 1:OO o'clock P.M., August 3,
1964, at the Council Chambers of the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, 2960 Pi0 Pic0 Drive, Carlsbad, California,
all sealed bids or proposals for said work, which were
delivered to the City Clerk, were publicly opened, exa-
mined and declared by the City Clerk; and
WEREAS, the City Clerk submitted his report of the
results of said bidding to the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad on August 4, 1964, the regular meeting of the
City Council next succeeding the date of the opening of the
bids; and
WHEREAS, this City Council finds that said resolutions
were duly adopted and contained the matters and things re-
quired by law and that all notices required by law have
been duly given and all hearings required by law fuly held
and that each and every step in the proceedings prior to
and including the opening of said bids has been duly and

uired jurisdiction;
NOW, THEREFOE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbac ,
alifornia DOES HERFBY RESOLE, DE'TEIWIINE AND ORDER as follows:
SectionP1. That this City Council does hereby determine
hat the bid of Favichk Construction Co., El Cajon, California
s the lowest regular bid for said work of any responsible
idder and that said bid is accompanied by a good and suffi-
ient proposal guaranty which is satisfactory to this City
ouncil, and this City Council does hereby award the contract
or said work to the abovenamed bzdder, at the prices named

Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to
ublish twice in the CARLSBAD JOURNAL, a newspaper of gen-

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
