HomeMy WebLinkAbout1964-08-18; City Council; Resolution 1064- ' -rL 3 2 z 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 3.4 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 33. 32 RESOLUTION NO. 1064 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CaRLSBAD ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISION REGPJZDIMG CHANGE OF ZQNE CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN DESIGNATED PRQPERTY IN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD FROM ZQNE R-B TO ZONE R-P, WHEREAS, on the 28th day of July, 1964, the Carlsbad City Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 362, whi, eh is here- with referred to and made a part hereof; and WEREAS, on August 18, 1964, a duly advertised public hearing was held as prescribed by Law to consider the seclas- sification from Zone R-1 (one-family residential) to Zone R-P (residential-professional) of property described as: That portion of Lot 47, of Seaside Lands, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, ac- 'arding to map thereof No. 1722, filed in the office of ed as follows: Beginning at the easterly corner of said Lot 47; thence South 55027' rives$ along the Southeasterly line of said Lot a distance of 100 feet; thence North 340339 West 12Q.5 feet ; thence North 55027' East LOO feet to the Northeasterly line of said Lot 47; thence Sbuth 34033' East along said Northeasterly line 120.5 feet to the point of beginning; >' he County Recorder of said County July 28, 1921, describ- and YVHER€AS, the City Council received all recommendations and heard all persons interested in or opposed to the pro- posed change of zone classification, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of C%lsbad DOES HEREBY DECLXiE FINDINGS AND RESQLVE that the findings of the Planning Commission contained in Resolution No. 362 con- stitute the findings of the City Council of the City of Garls- bad, BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLED that the City Council certifies that the approval of the proposed change of zone classification is necessary to carry out the general purpose I1 1: I: 1; a4 I! BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby declare its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the proposed change of zone classification. BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND ORDERED that the City Attorney is hereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 9060 to effectuate the change of zone classification, PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 18th day of ,4ugust, 1964, by the following vote, to wit: AYES : Councilmen Dunne, Neiswender, Jardine and Hughes.
