HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-01-05; City Council; Resolution 10933 2 z 4 5 6 7 8 9 18 11 32 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 RESOLUTION NO. 1093 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD URGING THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO PROCEED WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF A COUNTY-WIDE MASTER PLAIY AND PLEDGE COOPERATION IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF SAME. WHEREAS, the State Recreational Bond Act provides a total of $750,000,000 for acquisition and development of State-wide recreation facilities, of which $40,000,000 is to be made available as State Grants to Counties and/or Cities for acquisition and/or development of real property for park and beach purposes; and WHEREAS, this Act states that before a public agency can apply for a portion of these Funds that it is first necessary that the County Board of Supervisors cause to have prepared a County- wide master plan and which shall be adopted by the Board of Super- visors after completion. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Carlsbad urges the San Diego County Board of Supervisor: to proceed with a County-wide master plan as set forth in the State Recreational Bond Act; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Carlsbad pledges its full cooperation to the County in the development of the master plan.
