HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-03-02; City Council; Resolution 11041 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 (Proposed Assessment District No. 1-1965) WHEREAS, on January 28, 1965, a petition was filed with the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad, said petition bearing the date of January 15, 1965, wherein the petitioners requested the improvement of Chinquapin Avenue from Garfield Street to the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad Right of May to construct concrete curbs gutter and sidewalks, asphaltic concrete pavement with base and seal coat, and various other appurtenant street work; the construction of six inch- (6") E.S.V.C.P. sewer main and four inch (4") V.C.P. sewer laterals, standard concrete manholes and other appurtenant work, and water service laterals as need; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Carlsbad has filed wit? the City Council his report stating that owners of more than 68% in area of the property subject to assessment for such proposed improve- ment have signed said petition; and WHEREAS, it appears from the face of said petition that the signers thereof have waived the investigation proceedings required by Division 4 of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of Cal i forni a. RESOLUTION NO. 1104 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD DECLARING FINDING THAT 'OWbIERS OF MORE THAN 60% IN AREA OF THE PROPERTY SUBJECT TO ASSESSMENT IN WAVE SIGNED PETITION FOR IMPROVEMENTS: FINDING THAT THE PETITION FOR PROPOSED FILED WITH THE CLERK OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD: AND FINDING THAT SAID PETITION CEEDINGS REQUIRED BY DIVISION 4 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAY CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. PROPOSED ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1-1 965 ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1-1965 HAS BEEN CONTAINS A WAIVER OF INVESTIGATION PRO- I z9// NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad does 3011 hereby resolve and find as follows: I 3111 1. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held on the 2nd day of March, 1965, by the following vote, to wit: AYES : Councilmen Atkinson, Dunne, Neiswender, Jardine and Hughes.
