RESOLUTION NO. 1108
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD DIRECTING
TIONS AND DESIGNATING ENGINEER TO PREPARE PLANS.
PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICA-
(Proposed Assessment District No. 1-1965)
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
that the said City Council proposes to cause to be improved in the
City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, the
fol1 owing streets or public ways to wit:
The construction of certain street improvements and appurtenances ~ and appurtenant work in that portion of Chinquapin Avenue in said City, from its inter- section with Garfield Street to its intersection easterly with the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad Company right-of-way, be cleared, grubbed and graded; construction of concrete curb, gutter and sidewalks, asphaltic concrete pavement on ade- quate base with seal coat, and various other appur- tenant street work; the construction of 6" E.S.V.C.P. sewer main and qJ1 V.C.P. sewer laterals, Standard concrete manholes and other appurtenant work. Water
service laterals as needed to be stubbed out before construction;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
iarlsbad, that Wayne P. Lill, Engineer of the City of Carlsbad be,
nd he is hereby directed to prepare plans and specifications for
aid proposed work; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proceedings for such work shal
e taken in accordance with the provisions of the "Improvement Act
f 1911" under Resolution of Intention to be hereafter adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said Wayne P. Lill be, and he
s hereby directed to prepare a map showing the boundaries and the
istrict -to be assessed for the said proposed work and improvement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Cjayne P. Lill is hereby directed
I denominate said plans "Construction Plans for the Improvement of

and that said Engineer shall designate said specifications for such
proposed improvements, "Specifications for Improvements in Assess-
ment District No. 1-1965".
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City 01
Carlsbad at a regular meeting held on the 2nd day of March, 1965,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Atkinson, Dunne, Neiswender, Jardine and Hughes.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
