A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DIRECTING THAT CERTAIN STREET WORK BE DONE UNDER THE DIRECTION AND TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE ENGINEER OF WORK.
(Assessment District No. 1-1965)
WHEREAS, heretofore on this date, this City Council of the
City of Carlsbad has adopted its Resolution No. 1133 ordering cer-
tai n street improvements, sai d work being more parti cu? arly descri b
in its Resolution No. 1110 and shown on plans (which include profil
drawings) designated "Construction Plans for the Im-
provement of Chinquapin Avenue, from Garfield Street to the Atchiso
Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad right-of-way, Project 5-2, Drawing
No. 146-6'' and described in specifications designated 'I Contract
Documents and Construction Specifications No. 2-196211, on file in
the office of said City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable that said work shall be done undei
the direction and to the satisfaction of the Engineer of Idork, and
that the materials used shall comply with said specifications and
be to the satisfaction of said Engineer of Work instead of the
Superintendent of Streets of said City.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER that said wor
shall be done under the direction of and to the satisfaction of sa
Engineer of Work and the materials used shaTl comply wish said
specifications and be to the satisfaction of said Engineer of Work
instead of the Superintendent of Streets of the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 6th day of April, 1965, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES : Councilmen Atkinson, Dunne, Neiswender and Hughes.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Jardine.

I, MARGARET E. ADAMS, City Clerk of said City, DO HEREBY
CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City
Council of said City and was approved by the Mayor of said City at
a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 6th day of April
1965, and that it was adopted by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Atkinson, Dunne, Neiswender and Hughes.
NOES : None
ABSENT: Councilman Jardine
