RESOLUTION NO. 11 47
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFOKNIA,
AWARDING CONTRACT FOR WORK OR IM-
PROVEMENT ORDERED BY RESOLUTION NO. 1026 OF SAID CITY COUNCIL
(Assessment District No. 1-1965)
WHEREAS, this City Council on the 6th day of April, 1965, duly adopted
?solution No. 1133 ordering the following work to be done dr improvement to
! made, to wit, all that certain work or improvement described in Resolution
3. 1110, duly adopted by this City Council on the 2nd day of March, 1965; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to and in accordance with said Resolution No. 1135,
notice inviting sealed bids or proposals for doing said work or improvement
as duly published and posted; and
WHEREAS, at the hour of 2:OO orclock P.M., May 3, 1965, at the Council
hambers of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, 2960 Pi0 Pic0 Drive,

elivered to the City Clerk, were publicly opened, examined and declared by

WHEREAS, the City Clerk submitted her report of the result of said bidding

ind contained the matters and things required by law and that all notices re-
pired by law have been duly given and all hearings required by law duly held
md that each and every step in the proceedings prior to and including the open-

NOW, THEREFORE, THE City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California
DOES HEREBY RESOLYE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. That this City Council does hereby determine that the bid-. of
ASPHALT SERVICE, Oceanside, California -
is the lowest regular bid for said work of any responsible bidder and that said
bid is accompanied by a good and sufficient proposal guaranty which is satis-
factory to this City Council, and this City Council does hereby award the
Intract for said work to the above named bidder, at the prices named in the
id of said bidder.

Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish twice in the
ARLSBAD JOURNAL, a newspaper of general circulation published and cir-
ulated in the City of Carlsbad, a notice of this award. Said notice shall con-
rin the matters and things Pequired by law and shall be published in the man-
er required by law.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Iouncil held on the 4th day of May, 1965, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Dunne, Neiswender, Atkinson and Jardine.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Hughes.
