RESOLUTION NO. 1159
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AWARDING CONTRACT FOR WORK OR IM- .. . ~ PROVEMENT ORDERED BY RESOLUTION NO. 1141 OF SAID CITY COUNCIL.
( Assessment District No. 2 -1964)
WHEREAS, this City Council, on the 18th day of May, 1965, duly
dopted Resolution No. 1141 ordering the following work to be done
r improvement to be made, to wit, all that certain work or improve-
lent described in Resolution No. 1120, duly adopted by this City
,ouncil on the 16th day of March, 1965; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to and in accordance with said Resolution
141. a notice inviting sealed bids or proposals for doing said work
ir improvement was duly published and posted; and
WHEREAS, at the hour of 2:30 o'clock P.M., June 14, 1965, at
:he Council Chambers of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
!960 Pi0 Pic0 Drive, Carlsbad, California, all sealed bids or pro-
iosals for said work, which were delfvered to the City Clerk, were
iublicly opened, examined and declared by the City Clerk; and4 -.
MHEREAS, the City Clerk submitted his report of the result of
said bidding to the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on June 15
1965, the regular meeting of the City Council next succeeding the
date of the opening of the bids; and
WHEREAS, this City Council finds that said resolutions were
duly adopted and contained the matters and things required by law
and that all notices required by law have been duly given and all
hearings required by law duly held and that each and every step in
the proceedings prior to and including the opening of said bids
has been duly and regularly taken and that this City Council has
duly acquired jurisdiction;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, DOES, HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. That this City Council does hereby determine that

the bid Of DON HUBBARD CONTRACTING COS, Encinitas, california is
the lowest regular bid for said work of any responsible bidder
and that said bid is accompanied by a good and sufficient proposal
guaranty which is satisfactory to this City Council, and this City
Council does hereby award the contract for said work to the above
named bidder, at the prices named in the bid of said bidder. All
bids or proposals for said work, other than said lowest regular
bid above accepted, are hereby rejected.

published and circulated in the City of Carlsbad, a notice of this
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish I

by law and shall be published in the manner required by law.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on the 15th day of June, 1965, by the following vote,
