RESOLUTION NO. 1166
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD REQUESTING THE STATE DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS TO INSTALL A PERMANENT OVERCROSSING AT CHINQUAPIN AVENUE AND INTERSTATE NO. 5, IN LIEU OF FRONTAGE ROAD ON EAST SIDE OF FREEWAY BETWEEN CHINQUAPIN AVENUE AND TAMARACK AVENUE. .
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
that it does hereby request the State Division of Highways to instal
a permanent overcrossing at Chinquapin Avenue and Interstate No. 5,
in lieu of a frontage road on the east side of Interst
between Chinquapin Avenue and Tamarack Avenue, for the reasons that
such construction will promote the general health, safety and welfar
of the citizens of the City of Carlsbad by aiding the flow of traffi
within the City.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on the 3rd day of August, 1965, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Dunne, Neiswender, Atkinson, Hughes and
NOES: None
