RESOLUTION NO. 1181
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD DIRECTING PREPARATION
ING ENGINEER TO PREPARE PLANS.
(Proposed Assessment District No. 4-1964)
OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND DESIGNAT-
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carl ib-d,
that the said City Council proposes to cause to be improved in the
City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, the
following streets or public ways, to wit:
Inscz7lation of ornamental street lighting standards, installation of underground electrical system and other necessary and incidental appurtenances; said improvements to be installed upon portions of the following listed streets:
Elm Avenue from its intersection with the A.T. 8r S. F. Rai 1 road Company eas terly right-of-way 1 i ne to its intersection with California Interstate No. 5 Freeway westerly ri ght-of -way 1 i ne -
its intersection with Hope Avenue.
Railroad Company easterly right-of-way line to its intersection with State Street.
3eech Avenue from its intersection with State Street to a point 192.62 feet east of said intersection.
State Street from its intersection with Elm Avenue to its inter- section with Laguna Drive.
aoosevelt Street from its intersection with Elm Avenue to its inter-
section with Grand Avenue.
vladiscn Street from its intersection with Elm Avenue to its inter- section with Grand Avenue.
Jefferson Street from its intersection with Elm Avenue to its inter-
section with Grand Avenue.
larding Street from its intersection with Elm Avenue to its inter-
section with Grand Avenue;
Grand Avenue from its intersection with Carlsbad Boulevard to
Cedar Avenue from its intersection with the A,T, 8r S. F.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that MAYNE P. LILL, Engineer of the
Zity of Carlsbad, be and he is hereby directed to prepare plans and
;pecificatisns for said proposed work; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proceedings for such work shal
be taken in accordance with the provisions of the "Improvement Act
of 7911" under Resolution of Intention to be hereafter adopted, pro-
vided that this City Council obtains jurisdiction to proceed with
said work under the provisions of the "Special Assessment Investiga-
tion, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Wayne P. Lill is hereby directed
to denominate said plans "Improvement Plans for Downtown Street
Lighting, A.D. 4-1964" Project 4-16, Drawing No. 14-2-10, and that
said Engineer shall designate said specifications for such proposed
improvements, "Specifications for Improvements in Assessment Distril
do. 4-1964".
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
if Carlsbad at a regular meeting held on the 7th day of September,
1965, by the following vote, to wit:
