RESOLUTION NO. 1183
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD AUTHORIZINd THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT APPOINTING AN ASSESSMENT ENGINEER RE: ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 4-1964.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve
as ~O~~OWS:
BSHEREWS, the City of Carlsbad has, pursuant to a petition,
in?tiated the construction of certain street lighting improvements
and related appurtenances in the proposed "Downtown Street Lighting
Djstrict3" under the provisions of the 1911 Improvement Act,
contained l"n Division 7 of the Streets ti Hfghways Code, designated
4ssessment District No. 4-7964; and
%HEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to have an Assessment
!nga"neer to perform certain functions of sa-id assessment
iroceedings; and
WHEREAS, Judson T. Naiman, an individual, is qualified to
le an Assessment Engineer;
MOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
:ity of Carlsbad that the City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to execute on behalf of the City an agreement between the
City of Car'lsbad and Judson T. Naiman to perform the servjces callec
for a'n said agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and made
a part hereof by thl's reference.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed
to provide Judson T. Maiman with an executed copy of said agreement.
PASSED AND ADOQTEQ by the City Council of the City of
Zarlsbad at a rebu"Bar meeting thereof held this 7th day of September
1965, by the following roll call vote:
