RESQLUTION NO. 1210
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD REQUESTING THE BOARD QF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN DlEGO TO PERMIT THE REGISTRAR OF VOTERS OF SAID COUNTY TO RENDER SPECIFIED SERVICES TO THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, RELATING TO THE CONDUCT OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON APRIL 12, 1966.
WHEREAS, a General Municipal Election is to be held in the City of Carlsbad on April 12, 1966; and
WHEREAS, in the course of conduct of said election and in relation thereto it will be necessary to inail sample ballots and polling place inserts to the registered voters of the City, and it
will facilitate such mailing if the Registrar of Voters of the County of San Diego will prepare and furnish the City the imprintin<
of the names and addresses of the registered voters of said City on 1,B.M. polling place inserts furnished by the City, and after bursting the forms will insert the polling place insert and sample ballot into envelopes, all to be furnished by the City; and
WHEREAS, all necessary expense in performing this service shall
NOM, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad does
SECTION 1.
be paid by the City of Carlsbad;
hereby RESOLVE, DETERPIIN€ AND ORDER as follows:
That pursuant to the provisions of Section 22003 of
the Elections Code of the State of California, this City Council hereby requests the Board of Supervisors of said County to permit the Registrar of Voters to prepare and furnish to said City, for use in conducting said election to be held on April 12, 1966, the imprinting of the names and addresses of the registered voters of said City on I.B.M. polling place inserts furnished by the City and after bursting the forms to insert the polling place insert and sample ballots into envelopes, all to be furnished by the City.
SECTION 2. That said City shall reimburse said County for services performed when the work is cornpleted and upon presentation to the City of a properly approved bill.

ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 18th day of January, 1966.
