RESOLUTION NO. 1231
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD APPOINTING PERSON TO ACT AS ENGINEER OF WORK, DESIGNATING ENGINEER OF WORK,AS THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPARATION
MENT DIAGRAMS, ASSESSMENT ROLL AND
WARRANT; DESIGNATING THE ENGINEER OF
OF THE ENGINEERING DOCUMENTS, ASSESS-
WORK TO SUPERVISE ALL WORK; APPOINT- ING ENGINEER OF WORK AS THE SUPERIN- TENDENT OF STREETS AND FIXING COMPEN-
SATION FOR SERVICES.

RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad that WAYNE
P. LILL be, and he is hereby appointed Engineer of Work for the pro-
posed doing of all necessary engineering work and exercising all of
the functions provided for the office of Engineer of Work and Super-
intendent of Streets in the "Improvement Act of 1911" in connection
with the improvement work in the City of Carlsbad, and to be known
as the improvement of Date Avenue, Olive Avenue and a portion of
Garfield Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Wayne P. Lill shall act as
Engineer of Work and Superintendent of Streets and is hereby employe
and appointed to furnish all surveys, original drawings, maps and
blue prints, including any and all such maps necessary and incident
to the rights of way contemplated in the improvement work herein
involved; all plans and specifications, all inspection workg pre-
paration of assessment rolls, assessment diagram and warrant and
any and all other services which shall be required from the Engineer
af Work and/or Superintendent of Streets under the provisions of
the "Improvement Act of 1911"; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Wayne P. Lill, is hereby ap-
iointed as the person to supervise, inspect, and accept in behalf
if the City of Carlsbad the installation, construction, performance
Ind completion of such work and improvements.
