I RESQLVED that STUART C. WILSON, be, and he is hereby appointed i as attorney to prepare all resolutions, notices and other papers
and proceedings for any work and improvement that may be hereinafter
authorized by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad for the pro-
posed improvement of Assessment District No. 2-1966 in said City of
Carlsbad; and I i BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said Stuart C. Ir,lilson shall
ce-r"ve as compensation for the doing and performance of said work th$

sum of Two Per Cent (2%) of the contract price, not including inci-l I !
dentals; but in no event shall the amount of compensation, which thi I I

i (a) Three-fourths (3/4ths) at the time of signing the contrac
with the contractor who may be awarded said contract by
this Body,
The balance thereof at the time of recording the Warrant,
diagram and assessment;

1 carry through to conclusion, then the said Stuart C. Wilson shall

, I 1 be paid a reasonable compensation for his service which he has
performed, which in no event shall be less than $100.00.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said services shall not include
any services for litigation or services in the procurement of
easements of rights of way, but shall be for the preparation of all
resolution, notices and other papers and proceedings required by th

provisions of the "Improvement Act of 1917" in carrying
the proceedings for the work herein contemplated.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all of the compensatio 1
services, and exclusive of extraordinary services, being so allowed
to Stuart C. Wilson as provided by law, shall be payable to the
General Fund of the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad at a regular meeting held on the 15th day of March, 1966,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Cmn. Dunnes Neiswender, Atkinson, Hughes and Sardine.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
