RESOLUTION NO. 1259
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA
MENT ORDERED BY RESOLUTION NO. 1234 OF SAID CITY COUNCIL
(Assessment District No. 3-1965)
AWARDING CONTRACT FOR WORK OR IMPROVE-
WHEREAS, this City Council on the lst day of March, 1966, duly
adopted Resolution No. 1234 orderi g the following work to be done
or improvement to be made, to wit, all that certain work or improve-
ment described in Resolution No. 1219, duly adopted by this City
Council on the 1st day of February, 1966; and
LtlHEREAS, pursuant to and in accordance with sa-id Resolution No.
1234, a notice inviting sealed bids or proposals for doing said wor
or improvement was duly published and posted; and
WHEREAS, at the hour of 2:OQ o'c1ock P.M. April 15, 1966, at
the Council Chambers of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
2960 Pi0 Pic0 Drive, Carlsbad, California, all sealed bids or pro-
posals for said works which were delivered to the City Clerk, were
publicly opened, exalliined and declared by the City Clerk; and

WHEREAS, this City Council finds that said resolutions were

NOW, THEREFORE, THE City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
alifornia, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLO!JS:
Section 1. That this City Council does hereby ermine that
the bid of T. B. PENICK & SONS, INC., San Diego, California, is
the lowest regular bid for said work of any responsible bidder and
that said bid is accompanied by a good sufficient proposal guaranty
which is satisfactory to this City Coui-tcil, and this City Council
does hereby award the contract for said work to the above named
bidder, at the prices named in the bid of said bidder. All bids or
proposals for said works other than said lowest regular bid above
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
twice in the CARLSBAD JOURNAL, a newspaper of general circulation

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
