HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-07-05; City Council; Resolution 1276,ll 1 1 1: 1d l! 1( 3' It 1$ 2( 21 2; '2 2 24 25 27 28 29 30 31 32 NON, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad does iereby resolve and find as follows: RESOLUTION NO. 1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD DECLARING FINDING s THAT OWNERS OF MORE THAN 60% IN AREA OF THE PROPERTY SUBJECT TO ASSESSMENT IN PROPOSED ASSESSNENT DISTRICT NO. EVIENTS; FINDING THAT THE PETITION FOR HAS BEEN FILED WITH THE CLERK OF THE 3-1966 HAVE SIGNED PETITION FOR IMPROVE- PROPOSED ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 3-1966 CITY OF CARLSBAD; AND FINDING THAT SAID PETITION CONTAINS A WAIVER OF INVESTIGA- TION PROCEEDINGS REQUIRED BY DIVISION 4 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAY CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. (Proposed Assessment District No. 3-1966) WHEREAS, on June 17, 1966, a petition w s filed with the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad, said petition b aring -/-he date of March 8, 1966, wherein the petitioners requested the improvement of James Drive, from Buena Vista Way to its terminus in Lot 11 Wilsonia Tract, Map No. 2169, to construct concrete combination curb and gutter, drainage structures and appurtenances thereof, 2" asphaltic concrete pavement with stone chip seal and select sub-base if needed, 5 foot concrete sidewalks, 4 inch sewer service laterals and appurtenances thereof, 6 inch water main including fire hydrants and 1 inch copper services with appurtenances thereof, and under- ground power to each and every lot, and installation of the neces- sary crnamental street lighting standards; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Carlsbad has filed vith the City Council his report stating that owners of more than 50% in area of the property subject to assessment for suck proposed improvement have signed said petition; and WHEREAS, it appears from the face of said petition that the iigners thereof have waived the investigation proceedings required )y Division 4 of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of Cali- 1 .) . ..I A ': 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 IC 12 12 12 14 1: 1E 17 1E 35 2c 21 22 2 2 24 2: 2E 27 2€ 25 3c 31 3: 1.
