RESOLUTION NO. 1303
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD ANNOUNCING FINDINGS AND DECISION RELATING TO THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE
NO, 9060, BY ADDING THERETO ARTICLE
9.5 TO CREATE AN R-kil ZONE.
WHEREAS, on the 26th day of July, 1966, the Carlsbad City
)lanning Commission adopted Resolution No. 452, which is herewith
Oeferred to and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Council has published notice that a
learing would be held on August 16, 1966, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., at
'hich hearing the proposed amendment would be considered; and
WHEREAS, the Ci ty Counci 1 has received a1 1 recommendations anc
ieard all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed amendmen'
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad does
iereby find, and adopt as the findings of the City Council the recoi
nendations of the Planning Commission as set forth in the above
Peferenced resolution of the Planning Commission.
IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED by the City Council that the approval
3f the proposed amendment is necessary to carry out the general pur
pose of Ordinance No. 9060 as amended.
IT IS HEREBY DECLARED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad that said City Council intends to adopt an ordinance to
effectuate the proposed amendment.
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the City Attorney is instructed to
prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 9060 to effectuate the
amendment.
