RESOLUTION NO. 1305
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
LUTION NO'. 975, CHANGING THE ENGINEER OF MORK AND FIXING COMPENSATION.
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, RESCINDING RESO-
( Assessment District No. 3-1964)
WHEREAS, on the 21st day of January, 1964, the City Council of
.he City of Carlsbad adopted Resolution No. 975 appointing LOWELL A.
!ATHBUN as Engineer of Work and Superintendent of Streets for the
Iork and improvements of Assessment District No. 3-1964; and
WHEREAS, on the 21st day of August, 1964, LOWELL A. RATHBUN did
,erminate his services as the Engineer of Work and Superintendent of
treets for the above referenced improvement district.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
:ity of Carlsbad, that Resolution No. 975 is hereby rescinded, and
;hat WAYNE P. LILL shall be, and he ?s hereby appointed to act as
Ingineer of Work and Superintendent of Streets from and after the
llst day of August, 1964, including all surveys, original drawings,
laps and blue prints, including any and all such maps necessary and
ncident to the rights of way contemplated in the improvement work
ierein involved; all plans and specifications, all inspection work,
ireparation of assessment rolls, assessment diagram and warrant and
iny and all other services which shall be required from the Engineer
)f Nork or Superintendent of Streets under the provisions of the
,mprovement Act of 1911.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that for such services that the said
1AYN.E P. LILL, acting in his capacity as Engineer of Work and Super-
ntendent of Streets, shall receive as and for his compensation for
:he services so specified, and as provided by law, the following
:ompensation, which shall consist of the following sums of money:
(a) Eleven and one-half per cent (11 1/2%) of the contract
(b) Two per cent (2%) of the contract price for preparation of
price for engineering services.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that of the compensation so allowed to

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said sum shall be based upon the

966, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Worthing, Neiswender, Atkinson, Dunne and
