RESOLUTION NO. 1324
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, APPROVING AND ACCEPTING JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT FOR COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING
ORGANIZATION; AUTHORIZING MAYOR TO EXECUTE AGREEMENT; AND DIRECTING CLERK TO FORWARD COPY OF RESOLUTION TO SECRETARY OF REGIONAL
DINATING COMMITTEE. GENERAL PLAN AND TRANSPORTATION POLICY COOR-
WHEREAS, the San Diego County Regional General Plan and
Transportation Pol icy Coordi nati ng Commi ttee has submitted a pro-
posed Joint Powers Agreement to provide for comprehensive planning
coordination required to qualify the member agencies of the San
Diego Region for Federal and State grants, in accordance with Sect-
ion 9 of the Federal-Aid Highway Act of 1962; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad does hereby approve and accept the Joint Powers
Agreement Comprehensive Planning Organization as submitted, and the
Mayor authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of the City of
Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the Secretary of
the Regional General Plan and Transportation Policy Coordinating
Comrni ttee.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad at a regular meeting held on the 1st day of November,
