HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-06-20; City Council; Resolution 140927 28 29 30 31 32 RESOLUTION NO. 1409 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, APPROVING THE TENT VE MAQ OF ' TERRAMAR UNIT NO. 7 SUBDIVISION. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad on the ;h day of May, 1967, recommended to the City Council that the tenta- ive map of Terramar Unit No. 7 Subdivision be approved; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 16th 3y of May, 1967, considered the recommendation of the Planning Com- ission; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City f Carlsbad, that the City Council does hereby approve said tentativi ap of TERRAMAR UNIT NO. 7 SUBDIVISION, subject to the following equirements and conditions being performe'd by the Subdivider: 1. Alldomestic water supplied to this subdivision shall be upplied by the Carlsbad City Water Department. 2. All buildings constructed in this subdivision shall be ewered by the Carlsbad Public Sewer System. 3. Sewer and water lines shall not be laid in the same trench n any part of this subdivision. 4. ision so as to prevent ponding and/or storage of surface water. 5. Location, grade and details of proposed improvements as indicated upon the Tentative Map shall be subject to revisions as required by Improvement Plans, and approval of the map shall not imply acceptance as submitted. 13. A drainage study shall be submitted and any necessary jrainage work shall be constructed to ensure that no part of the ;ubdivision will be subject to inundation, except as may be so ioted on the Final Map. I 14. All improvements shall comply with the standard plans and specifications of the' City of Carlsbad. 15. Street paving in El Arbol Drive shall consist of two inche (2") of asphaltic concrete with stone chip seal coat laid upon a ninimum of four inches (4") of decomposed' granite base material on approved subgrade. Interim street paving in Cannon Road shall consist of two inches (2") of asphaltic concrete with stone chip seal coat laid upon native material subgrade. 16. Type "G" concrete curb and gutter shall be installed in all streets. Concrete cross gutters shall be six feet (6') in width 3011 and 1 ocated as requi red for drai nage. All required street name signs, barricades and safety devices shall be installed. 19. Surface drainage of storm waters in Cannon Road is satisfactory. Drainage improvements in El Ar 1 Drive shall include standard inlets and conduit to satisfactory discharge points, in- cluding easements and permits as necessary. 20. One inch [l") diameter minimum water services to shall be constructed as required by the City. each lot 21. Four inch (4") diameter minimum sewer service laberals for each lot shall be constructed as required by the City. 22. Survey monuments and street trees shall be installed as required by City standards. 23. Alignment, location and grade of all improvements shall be subject to approval of the City Engineer. Complete plans and spec- ifications shall be submitted as required for checking and approval before construction of any improvement is commenced. 24. The subdivider shall furnish the U. S. Post Office, Carlsbad, California with a copy of the final bdivision map, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to place a copy of this resolution in the usual course of mail, addressed to the subdivider at his address as shown on the tenta- tive map. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 20th day of June, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: NOES: None. Cmn.
