RESOLUTION NO. 1418
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD AUTHOR-
IZING EXECUTION OF JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT WITH CITIES
OF SAN DIEGO, CIIULA VISTA, NATIONAL CITY, AND OCEANSIDE REGARDING
SEkM REGIONAL LIBKARY SYSTEM
Be it resolved by tne City Council of the City of Carlsbad
tnat it does hereby authorize and direct the City Manager of the
City of Carlsbad, to execute on behalf of the City of Carlsbad,
that certain JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT with the cities
of San Diego, ChuZa Vista, National City, and Oceanside, regarding
the Serra Regional Library System, a copy of which is attached
hereto and by this reference incorporated herein,
Be it further resolved that the City Librarian, Georgina Cole,
or her designated representative, is hereby appointed as the repre-
sentative of the City of Carlsbad on the Executive Committee of the
Serra Regional Library System,
an ad'ourned PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at / reguiar meeting of the
City Council held July 5 1967, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES; Councilmen Worthing, Neiswender, Atkinson and Dunne.
NOES: None
ABSENT: Counci lman Jardi ne
