29 declare its intention to adopt an ordinance to effectuate the pro- //
ZONE R-T TO ZONE R-A.
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of June, 1967, the Carlsbad City
Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 508, which is herewith
referred to and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, on July 18, 1967, a duly advertised public hearing
was held as prescribed by law to consider the reclassification from
Zone R-T(Residentia1 Tourist) to Zone R-A(Residentia1 Agricultural)
of property described as:
Portion of the Southeast quarter in Section 36, Township 11 South, Range 5 West, being Parcels 3 and 4, Book 155, Page 140; and portion of Section 1, Township 12 South, Range 5 West, Parcel 1, Book 155, Page 210, of the Assessor's Map of San Diego County for 1966-67; and
WHEREAS, the City Counci 1 received a1 1 recommendations and
heard all persons interested in or opposed to the proposed change
of zone classification;
NOW, THEREFOREy the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
DOES HEREBY DECLARE FINDINGS AND RESOLVE that the findings of the
Planning Commission contained in Resolution No. 508, constitute the
findings of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND RESOLVED that the City Council
certifies that the approval of the proposed change of zone classi-
fications are necessary to carry out the general purpose of Ordi-
nance No. 9060 as amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
30 11 posed change of zone cl assi fi cation.
BE IT FURTHER DECLARED AND ORDERED that the City Attorney 31 I1 32 is hereby instructed to prepare an ordinance amending Ordinance /I
