BY CITY COUNCIL RE: PRELIMINARY
’ REGIONAL GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has carefully
studied the Preliminary Regional General Plan for San Diego County
1990, and

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission Resolution No. 517 has
requested minor modifications which the County has agreed to make in
said plan:
1. That the area between the freeway and railroad, north and
south of Palomar Airport Road be colored blue industrial on the map,
and the blue area east of the freeway be deleted.
2. That the area around the Palomar Airport be designated blue.

not in conflict with the plans for the City of Carlsbad. I
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Carlsbad
supports the Preliminary Regional General Plan in principle;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Carlsbad strongly urges
the Board of Supervisors of San Diego County to adopt the San Diego
County General Plan 1990, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that there is a continuation of the
present high level of cooperation among all jurisdictions in
planning for the future of San Diego County.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED, at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 19th day of September, 1967 by the
following vote, to wit:

WHEREAS, the early adoption of a countywide General Plan is a
requirement for receiving State Bond Act Recreation Funds, and
WHEREAS, the Preliminary Regional General Plan as revised, is i
