RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING CERTAIN LEASES WITH THE
CARLSBAD BUILDING AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, there has been presented to this City Council
a lease entitled Yarlsbzd Civic Center Ground Lease," dated
as of November '1, 1967, by and between the City of Carlsbad
and the Carlsbad Building Authority providing for the leasing
to the Authority the site described in Exhibit "A" attached to
said Ground Lease; and
WHEREAS, there has been presented to this City Council
a lease entitled "Carlsbad Civic Center Lease," dated as of
November 1, 1967, by and between the City of Carlsbad and the
Carlsbad Building Authority providing for the leasing to the
City of Carlsbad the Facilities as therein defined;

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. That the Carlsbad Civic Center Ground Lease
and tbe Carlsbad Civic Center Lease, referred to in the recitals
hereof, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the Mayor of the City of Carlsbad be
and is hereby authorized to execute said Leases and the City
Clerk of said City is hereby authorized to attest to said Leases
and to affix thereto the official seal cf the City.
Section 3. That upon execution of said Civic Center
Lease by the Carlsbad Building Authority, the Civic Center Lease
may be recorded and by the adoption of this resolution this City
Council of said City does hereby consent to the recordation there-
of. The City Clerk is authorized to certify a copy of this
