HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-11-21; City Council; Resolution 1454r, '9 3 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 18 11 12 23 2.4 15 16 3.7 3.8 19 20 21 22 22 24 25 26 21 28 29 30 31 32 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH'E CITY OF CARLSBAD, ADOPTING PRECISE PLAN PP 6706 FOR MONROE PARK ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWESTERLY CORNER OF MONROE WHEREAS, on t e Planning Com- mission of the City of Ca lsbad adopte Resolution No. 525, recom- mending the adoption of the precise plan for proposed R-3 Zone, a copy of which precise plan is attached hereto and marked Exhibit I'B and made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, on November 21, 1967, a duly advertised hearing was held by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, at whic City Council nsi dered the recommendations of the P1 anni sion, heard all persons interested in or opposed to the adoption of the precise plan, and considered all factors relating to the adoption thereof. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City City of Carlsbad as follows: A. That the precise plan, marked Exhibit IIB entitled "Precise Plan for Proposed R-3 Zone", No. hereby adopted as the precise plan for the area shown and describec in said "Exhibit IIB", subject to the fol res tri cti ons : 1. All plans for the landscaped areas shall be approved by the Planning Department. 5. One identification sign, to be ghted and not exceed twenty square feet in area, provided sai gn is stationary and is placed on the wall of the building and does not extend above or out from the front wall and contains no advertising matter except the name and street address of the building up0 placed. 6. All domestic water supplied to this subdivision shall be supplied by the Carlsbad City Water Department. 7. All buildings constructed in this subdivision sewered by the Carlsbad Public Sewer System. 8. Sewer and water lines shall not be laid in the same trench in any part of this subdivision. Proper drainage shall be maintained throughout the usb- division so as to prevent ponding d/or storage of surface water. 10. Street paving in Monroe Street shall cons t of two inches f asphaltic concrete with stone chip seal oat laid upon a minimum of four inches (4") of decomposed granite base material on approved subgrade. Chestnut Avenue adjoining this project was improved by 1911 Act procedures and no additional street improvement is requirec e I'G" concrete curb and gutter shall be installed in a1 streets.
