WHEREAS, on the 28th day of May, 1968, the Planning Commission
of the City of Carlsbad adopted Resolution No. 557-A, recommending
the removal of Precise Plan PP 6706; and
WHEREAS, on June 18, 1968, a duly advertised hearing was held
by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, at which time the City
Council considered the recommendations of the Planning Commission,
heard all persons interested in or opposed to the removal of said
precise plan, and considered all factors relating to the removal
thereof, and found the following facts and reasons to exist:
1. That the granting of the removal of this precise plan will
not be detrimental to the surrounding property.
2.
of this property for the development of the Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter Day Saints as shown in Conditional Use Permit, Resolution
No. 556, which would be highly desirable at this location.
The removal of Precise Plan PP 6706 enables the purchase
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad that Precise Plan PP 6706 is hereby removed.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council held on June 18, 1968, by the following vote, to wit:
RESOLUTION NO. 1526
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD REMOVING PRECISE PLAN PP 6706 ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWESTERLY CORNER
OF MONROE STREET AND CHESTNUT AVENUE.
