RESOLUTION NO. 1531
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD AUTHORIZING SELECTION OF UNITED STATES NATIONAL BANK AS DEPOSITARY FOR MONIES, FUNDS, AND CREDITS OF SAID CITY OF CARLSBAD.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve
that the UNITED STATES NATIONAL BANK be, and it is hereby selected
3s a depositary for the monies, funds, and credits of this muni ci -
iality and that the Treasurer and the Mayor, or the Treasurer and
3 Councilman of said City, are hereby authorized and empowered to
draw checks (including checks payable to their own order or to
iearer) upon said depositary against the accounts of this municipal-
ity with said depositary, and to endorse in the name of this munici-
Dality and receive payment of, all checks, drafts and commercial
iaper payable to this municipality either as payee, endorsee or
3therwise;
RESOLVED, further, that said authority hereby conferred shall
remain in full force and effect until it shall have been revoked
ind until a formal written notice of such revocation shall have
ieen given to and received by said UNITED STATES NATIONAL BANK:
RESOLVED, further, that the certification by the City Clerk
if this municipality as to the election or appointment of persons
so authorized and empowered as aforesaid and as to the signatures
if such persons, shall be binding upon this municipality.
RESOLVED, further, that the City Clerk of this municipality
)e and is hereby authorized and directed to deliver to said UNITED
STATES NATIONAL BANK a copy of this resolution proper1,y certified
