All steps required by law have been properly taken and the City Council does hereby announce its findings and decision follDwing receipt of a report from the Planning Commission 2. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD AFFIRMING DECISION OF PLANNING COMMISSION REGARDING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND CHANGE OF ZONE. 3-7 18 19 The City Council of the City of Carlsbad does hereby resolve 1 II 1 3. The action of the Planning Commission in denying said request for conditional use permit is hereby affirmed and said request for conditional use permit and zone ange is hereby denied. permit and zone change necessary to carry out the general purpose of the Carlsbad Zoning Ordinance are as follows: A. That the moving of the post office from the central business district will be detrimental to the welfare and prosperity of the downtown area. B.
